 We currently have two vacancies for a lunchtime supervisor and a teaching assistant (maternity cover). Further details are below.

 

Lunchtime Supervisor required

6.25 hours per week (lunchtimes Monday- Friday)
Term time only

We are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to work at Brewster Avenue Infant and Nursery School.

 You will have:

  • Some experience of working with children
  • The ability to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Flexibility and willingness to work both inside and outside
  • Enthusiasm and energy for lunchtime games and activities
  • Good communication skills with adults and children
  • The ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a team

Teaching Assistant Level 2

Temporary Maternity Cover

28.75 hours per week

Term time only: 38 weeks per annum

Salary: Grade 6

Brewster Avenue Infant School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly staff to cover a maternity leave. We are looking for individuals who enjoy both general class work and work with children with SEND.  

You will:

  • be an effective practitioner, who involves the children as active learners;
  • have experience of working with children in Key Stage 1 including those with SEND;
  • have high expectations for standards of achievement and behaviour, from children, staff and yourself;
  • have the commitment and ability to develop the potential of every child;
  • be creative and resilient;
  • have a passion for working collaboratively with colleagues.
