Teaching Assistant Level 2

Hours: 28.75 hours per week Term time only: 38 weeks per annum

Salary: Grade 6

Brewster Avenue Infant School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (initially for one of our reception classes) to join our friendly staff. We are looking for individuals who enjoy both general class work and work with children with SEND.  

You will:

• be an effective practitioner, who involves the children as active learners;
• have experience of working with children in EYFS and/or Key Stage 1 including those with SEND;
• have high expectations for standards of achievement and behaviour, from children, staff and yourself;
• have the commitment and ability to develop the potential of every child;
• be creative and resilient;
• have a passion for working collaboratively with colleagues.
